How AI Career Command collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the choices you have.

Who we are

AI Career Command (“we”, “us”) is a web app in which AI agents help you prepare job applications from your own resume. It is operated by Mohammed Faheem Akthar, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, who decides how your personal data is used (the data controller). Questions or requests: aicareercommand@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and name, or the name and email Google shares if you sign in with Google. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes by our sign-in provider.
• Your resume: the file you upload and the details read from it (contact details, work history, education, skills, links).
• Jobs you add: the job descriptions you paste or upload, and the job preferences you choose (target roles, locations, work mode, experience level, industries). We don't ask for your salary.
• Jobs you add with the browser extension: the job's title, company, location, description and web address, read from the job page you click the extension on.
• What your agents prepare: tailored resumes, scores and explanations, cover letters, emails, interview questions, reports and an activity log.
• Plan and billing: your plan, its status and renewal date, and how many jobs you've used this month. Card details are entered on the Dodo Payments page and never reach us; we receive only a customer reference, your email, the plan and payment status.
• Your choices: when you confirmed you are 18 or older and accepted these policies, and your consent settings.
• Technical data: our hosting and database providers keep short-lived security logs, which include IP addresses. The website counts visits without cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

Why we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for: storing your resume, running your agents on the jobs you add, and showing the results (performing our contract with you).
• To send your resume and job descriptions to our AI provider so your agents can work — only with your consent, which you give during setup and can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy & data.
• To bill paid plans, prevent fraud and keep the service secure (our legitimate interests and legal obligations, such as keeping tax records).
• To send you a welcome email when you join and other emails about your account (performing our contract with you).
• To send offers, promotions and job-search tips only if you opt in — at sign-up or in Settings → Privacy & data (your consent). It is off unless you turn it on, and every such email has a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or train our own AI models on it. The agents prepare suggestions; nothing is sent to employers unless you choose to send it.

Browser extension

The AI Career Command browser extension reads a web page only when you click its button on that page, and only to find the job described there. It shows you what it found, and sends it to your account only when you click "Add to my jobs". It doesn't read other pages, track your browsing, or collect your browsing history, and it never applies, clicks or fills in anything for you. To link the extension to your account it keeps a connection code in your browser; that code can only add jobs to your account. You can disconnect every browser at any time on the Browser extension page in the app, or remove the extension from your browser. We don't sell or share what the extension reads, or use it for anything other than preparing your job applications.

AI processing

Your agents run on an AI model provider we use under a paid, business agreement. For each step, only what that step needs is sent: for example your resume details and the job description. Under that agreement the provider does not use your content to train or improve its models, and keeps it only for a limited time to detect abuse. We may change AI provider to give you better results; any provider we use must meet the same standard, and we will update this policy if that standard changes. AI output can contain mistakes, so you review everything before you use it.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that run the service for us, under their data-processing terms:

• Supabase — database, sign-in and file storage.
• Netlify — hosting of the website and app, and the servers that run your agents.
• Our AI model provider — runs your agents' AI steps, as described under "AI processing" above.
• Google — Google Sign-In if you choose it, and Gmail, which sends our emails from aicareercommand@gmail.com.
• Dodo Payments — our merchant of record for paid plans: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues invoices and keeps the billing records. It handles card data to the PCI DSS standard, and processes your billing details under its own privacy policy as well as ours.
• Resend — sending emails from the app, where used.
• Microsoft — when you open a preview of a Word document, Microsoft's Office viewer fetches that file through a link that expires within minutes.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service.

Where it is processed

Our providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on their contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

How long we keep it

• Your account data stays until you delete it or your account. Deleting your account removes your files and data from the service straight away.
• A record of your AI usage (which agent ran, when, and the credits it used, with no resume or job content) is kept for 13 months for your credit balance, billing questions and refunds. It's deleted straight away if you delete your account.
• Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires (in the UAE, generally at least 5 years), by Dodo Payments and by us.
• Website visit counts are anonymous and kept in aggregate.

Your rights

You can access, correct, download and delete your data yourself in the app (Settings → Profile, Resume, and Privacy & data; delete your account in Settings → Account). You can withdraw consent, object to processing, or ask what we hold about you by emailing aicareercommand@gmail.com. We will confirm it's you and reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or the data protection authority where you live.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections and is encrypted at rest by our providers. Every row of your data is protected by access rules so that only you can read it — apart from our administrator access, which is used only for support and security; your files are private and open only through links that expire within minutes; payments happen on Dodo Payments' secure page.

Age

AI Career Command is only for people aged 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if we learn we have, we delete it. If you think a child has given us data, contact aicareercommand@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app, and ask you to accept it again where needed. The date above shows the current version.
